Hi. My name is Aimee and I run The Lilac Bakery.
The Lilac Bakery was born in early 2011, with a wooden spoon in hand.
I remember baking bread, standing on a bucket and only just being able to reach the counter, so it must be some years now. But I love it.
I love baking Macarons, not to be mistaken with macaroons, which are by contrary still yummy but totally different. I also specialise in Cake Pops and birthday cake, and yes, I do try my hand at wedding cakes too!
This blog is here simply so my brain can explode with all my day-to-day bits and bobs. Recipes, Photo’s, anything that inspires me really.
I hope whom ever reads this blog will at least take something away, even a little chuckle.
